What is Vest?
Vest is the representation or brand name of a group of products and services offered to individuals with an interest in investing. The broker dealer is Northbound Securities LLC ("Northbound"), which is a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (FINRA) and the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), with lead custodian DriveWealth LLC.
A few months ago, Vest decided to expand its operations throughout Latin America, acquiring Sproutfi's portfolio of users. If you want to learn more about Vest go to www.mivest.io
What does this mean for me as a Sproutfi user?
As a Sproutfi user you will not have any changes, since Vest has the same broker and custodian that you currently have, so there will be no need to migrate or make any major changes to your portfolio.
The application will start to have some changes in its interface, and later usability changes, all of them have been thought in your needs and so that you can have a better experience when you continue investing.
Will the application change its name?
Now the application you will use to invest will be called Sproutfi by Vest.
Will my balance remain in dollars?
We know how important it is for you to invest in dollars, so this will continue to be one of our main focuses for the app. This way you will be able to continue to carry out your investments within the U.S. stock market without any problems.
What new services will be offered now that Sproutfi is by Vest?
At Vest we want you to have the best investing experience so we are currently developing new products that will help you learn more about how to invest your money.
Once they are ready for you, we will let you know.
Am I obligated to keep my assets in Sproutfi by Vest?
No, you have two options:
- You can withdraw your money to your bank account; for this you can sell your current assets and request the withdrawal of your money through your Sproutfi app in any of the options we have for you. Find out which are in this link
Remember that in order to withdraw your money you must wait 2 business days after the sale of your shares.
- If you wish to transfer your assets to another broker through an ACAT, you can do it without any problem. Learn how to do it step by step in this link
Keep in mind that the process can only be done between regulated brokers, to verify if the broker to which you are thinking of transferring your assets is regulated you can validate it here
Will the communication channels with Sproutfi be modified?
The communication channels will not be modified, if you want to talk to our Customer Success team and you have questions about these new changes in the app or any other questions you can do it through these channels:
- Chat: Through our new app you will be able to write to us in real time, what does this mean, our CS team will be available to help you with all your questions as soon as possible.
- Correo electrónico: Our new customer service email will now be soporte@mivest.io here you will be able to keep writing us about any topic you want.
- Redes sociales (Facebook, Instagram y Twitter): Here you can leave your comments, suggestions and questions about your account or Vest. We will be happy to help you.
